Becca enjoys working with both males and females of all ages that take their fitness seriously.  She offers a one-on-one personalized approach to sports nutrition counseling for ALL levels ranging from the casual exercisers, to the time strapped weekend warriors, all the way to ultra-competitive athletes. In addition, Becca specializes in hormonal issues, gut disturbances, females looking to use their menstrual cycle as an ergogenic aid for performance, and those suffering from low energy availability and RED-S.

Becca grew up in an active family, always having a great passion for health and fitness.  However, due to mixed media messages, she dealt with a negative relationship with food and how to properly fuel for performance the majority of her life until she hit an ultimate low after breaking her tibia, sidelining her for over a year from ALL physical activity and sports. Becca especially loved running, the one thing in her life she felt “really good” at doing.  Running provided her with a sense of purpose, confidence and control. However, she realized something needed to change.  So, she focused in on her own nutrition. 

Having already been passionate about the topic of the continuously evolving subject of Sports Performance, she decided to obtain her B.S. in Kinesiology, as well as becoming a NASM certified personal trainer.  During this time, she decided to become her own guinea pig. She tried all the fad diets, and began diving deeper into the
”why”, researching reasons her body was constantly breaking, why she runs marathons but was barely eating anything to maintain a “race weight”, why she was depressed, and why men never seem to have the same problems women do! These life experiences motivated her to further her education and dive deep into the research. She went on to receive her degree as a Nutrition Consultant from Bauman College where she learned how nutrition can enhance our performance both physically and mentally.  In addition, she was part of only 50 people to partake in Dr. Stacy Sims, an expert in sex differences in sport, first certification course. There she learned how to optimize performance for females vs males based on the scientific research…because as Dr. Sims motto goes “Women are Not Small Men”.
