In today’s episode, we speak with Chris Bagg and Molly Balfe, co-owners and coaches for Campfire Endurance. Tune in to learn more about creating and coaching a community of endurance athletes around the world, carb loading before races, #pancakedoping and #appledoping.
Chris Bagg has been an actor, cook, teacher, freelance writer, professional triathlete, and coach. He runs Campfire Endurance Coaching with his infinitely patient business partner, aiming to make endurance athletes everywhere faster and happier. He lives in Portland, Oregon, but he grew up in Massachusetts and New York (he’s a Red Sox fan, though). He played soccer in college and then taught high school English for a while before turning to the thing he discovered he loves to do: being a P.E. teacher for adults.
Molly Balfe has been an actor, restaurant hostess, epidemiologist, and has worked in film and television sales and marketing. She also lives in Portland, Oregon, where it rains all the time, she thinks. She grew up swimming, and her coach once described her career as “whimsical.” She now coaches full-time and spends her free time on her bicycle.
